How the Divine Love Enters Into the Soul of Man. When a Man Dies Shall He Live Again?

I am here, Jesus.

I am here according to promise and desire to write you on a subject that all men should be acquainted with: “How the Divine Love enters into the soul of a man.” As I have told you before, man is a creature of God, having a body, spirit and soul, and all these are necessary to make the perfect man. But these three parts of man are different in their characteristics and functions and are separate and distinct and have qualities that are unlike in their composition, as well as in the duration of their existence.

The body, as you and all men know, has an existence which lasts only during the life of the mortal on earth and after that life ends dissolves into its elements, which no more can form the same body, either in the mortal world or in the spirit world for these elements are merely things of matter and may be and are used to form other bodies and manifestations of the material of nature - not necessarily in the form of human beings, for they enter into other forms both animal and vegetable and are so disseminated that never again will they become parts of a resurrected body.

Your orthodox do not teach this truth but think in some mysterious way that the mortal body will sometime be resurrected. No, the body, when it has performed its function of maintaining and shielding the soul and spirit of man during his earth life, is no longer and cannot thereafter be a part of that man and may be considered as something that is no longer a part of him.

This body, though, as a matter of fact even during the life of the mortal is not the same body during that life, for continually is there changes in the elements that compose that body, and one element or set of elements gives place to others and becomes lost or absorbed in the great sea of elements that help form or constitute the universe of God.

By operation of the laws of attraction and repulsion, these elements, as they replace others which disappear, conform themselves to the general appearance or outline of the parent body, so that the identity of the body, as well as of its appearance, is preserved. And as a man grows older the laws, which make the changes in his appearance, cause these new elements to....

How a Soul Must Receive the Divine Love of the Father in Order to Become an Inhabitant of the Kingdom of God

I am here, Jesus.

I desire tonight to write you on the subject: “How a soul must receive the Divine Love of the Father in order to become an inhabitant of the Kingdom of God, and realize that immortality of which I have written you.”

In the first place, it must be understood that the Divine Love of the Father is an entirely distinct kind of love from the love which the Father bestowed upon man at the time of his creation, and which man has possessed in a more or less condition of purity ever since that time. The Divine Love was never conferred upon man as a perfect and completed gift, either at the time of his creation, or since my coming to earth, but as a gift which is waiting for man’s own efforts and aspirations to obtain and without his efforts, it can never become his, although it is always close to him, and is waiting to answer his call.

Then, understanding what this Love is, and that man must seek for it, and what its effect upon the soul of man is, it becomes very important that man should make the obtaining of it the one great object of his aspirations and desires. For when he possesses it to a degree that makes him at-one with the Father, he ceases to be a mere man and becomes of a nature of soul existence that makes him Divine, with many qualities of the Father, the chief of which is, of course, Love. And this also causes him to absolutely realize the fact of his Immortality.

Mere moral goodness, or the possession of the natural love to its fullest degree, will not confer upon man this Divine Nature that I have mentioned, nor will good acts, charity, or kindness, of themselves, lead men to the possession of this Love. But the possession of this Love, in truth and in fact, will lead to charity and good deeds and kindness, always unselfish, and to a brotherhood of men on earth that the mere natural love cannot possibly lead to or cause to exist.

I know that men preach about the Fatherhood of God, and the brotherhood of man, and urge men to attempt to cultivate the thoughts and deeds of love and self-sacrifice and charity in a way to bring about the greatly to be wished for unity of life and purpose on the part of men; and by reason of this natural love, can themselves do a great work in bringing about this brotherhood. Yet, the chain that binds them together cannot possibly be any stronger than the natural love which forges it, and when that becomes overshadowed by ambition and material desires, the brotherhood will become greatly weakened, or disappear....

The Necessity for Men Turning Their Thoughts to Things Spiritual

I am here, St. Luke of the New Testament.

I desire to write my promised message and if you feel that you can receive it, I will try to write. Well, I desire to declare certain truths with reference to the necessity for men turning their thoughts to things spiritual and letting the material things of life consume less of their time and thoughts.

In the first place, that which is eternal is of more importance than that which is temporal and has an existence for a short time only, even though these things of time are necessary to sustain and preserve man while living his life on earth.

I would not be understood as implying that these material things are not necessary and important for man to acquire and use to the best possible advantage, for they are a necessity to his earth existence. And it is not only a privilege, but a duty, for man to make the best use of these material gifts that is possible, and to place himself in that condition which will enable him to enjoy, to the utmost, these things that have been provided for his material comfort and happiness. And further, it is his duty to bend his efforts to develop the use and application of these things, so that the greatest possible benefit and utility may be derived from the proper use of them.

And to do this, I understand that man has to give a portion of his thoughts and devote a part of his time to their consideration and to the means and methods by which the best results may be brought about. And in doing this, man is not disobedient to the Father’s Laws, or to the requirements which the laws of his own being calls for.

The discoveries of the inventors are desirable, and men’s work in making these discoveries is commendable; and so are efforts of the merchant and mechanic and financiers to succeed in their different undertakings and, as a result, accumulate money and use it for their comfort and sustenance.

But these things, or the thoughts and efforts used to accomplish these results, do not help the soul development, or even the development of the spiritual side of man’s nature. And if man devotes himself for the greater number of his hours of living to these pursuits, when he comes to lay down these burdens and pass into the land of the spirits, he will find that he is very poor, indeed, and that the eternal part of his being has little developed, and his soul is fitted for a place where those who have laid up their riches on earth must…

God is a God of Love and No Man Can Come to Him Unless He Receives the Love of the Father in His Soul

I am here, Jesus.

You are in a better condition tonight and I will continue my messages. “God is a God of Love, and no man can come to Him unless he receives the Love of the Father in his soul.”

As men are by nature sinful and inclined to error and the violation of God’s Laws, they can be redeemed from sin only by obtaining this Love; and that can be obtained only through prayer, and faith in the willingness of God to bestow this Love upon whosoever may ask for it. I do not mean that there must be formal prayers or compliance with any church creeds or dogmas, but the prayer that is efficacious is that which emanates from the soul and earnest aspirations of a man.

So let men know that unless they have the real soul longings for this Love, it will not be given to them. No mere intellectual desires will suffice. The intellect is not that faculty in man that unites him to God, only the soul is made in the likeness of the Father, and unless this likeness is perfected by a filling of the soul with the Divine Love of the Father, the likeness is never complete.

Love is the One Great Thing in God’s economy of real existence. Without it, all would be chaos and unhappiness, but where it exists harmony and happiness also exist. I say this because I know from personal experience that it is true. Let not men think that God is a God who wants the worship of men with the mere intellectual faculties - that is not true. His Love is the one thing that can possibly unite Him and them. This Love is not the love that is a part of man’s natural existence. The love that men have, who have not received a part of the Divine Love, is not sufficient to make them one with the Father. Nor is that love the kind that will enable them to enter the Celestial Spheres and become as the Angels, who are filled with this Divine Love and....

Divine Love For The Soul Reviewed by Bani Sodermark of bookpleasures.com

Revitalizing Spirituality

The title says it all. This book explores in some detail, the concept of transcendental love (love for the essence of humanity, and termed as “Divine Love” in this book) in general, and the modality of its’ expression in individuals living in the hectic, fast-paced  society of today. The primary source of inspiration behind this book are the channeled messages that were revealed through the ex-attorney and medium, James E. Padgett during the period between the years 1914 and 1923 and purported to have come from Jesus and the apostles, prominently St. Luke and St. John.

The primary theme of this book is to highlight the difference between Divine Love and the natural love that human beings feel for each other. It focuses on the finite nature of the egoistic love most humans have for their dear ones and the all-consuming nature of Divine Love for the soul, emphasizing the temporary nature of the former and the all-encompassing, life-changing character of the latter. To this effect, several writers document their experiences of the cultivation of Divine Love, the changes wrought in them over time and the fruits of their sadhana (a Sanskrit word for diligent study) as the process of tuning into Divine Love tests their metaphysical skills. The main purpose of this book is to show how Divine Love manifests itself in the life of ordinary human beings, and, in the process, render a new life and a new dimension to the teachings of Jesus as has been reported in the Bible, many of which have gathered dust over centuries because of stagnant interpretations.

Press Release About Upcoming Book Signing

Divine Love For The Soul: God’s Gift of Love: International Writers to Convene on the Sunshine Coast for Book Signing

Sunshine Coast, B.C., July 20, 2012, 2:45 p.m. The book launch of Divine Love For The Soul: God’s Gift of Love will be held during the five-day Divine Love Retreat hosted at the spacious hilltop home of writers Al and Jeanne Fike.

Joining the Fikes to discuss and sign the book will be international writers Joan Warden and Holly Bianco of California, Ruth Duvall and Gregory Boster, LMT of Florida, Dr. Michael Nedbal and Rev. Carolyn Stokes of Hawaii, Rev. David R. Lampron of New Jersey and Kathryn Deutschmann of B.C.

“Editing and compiling this spiritual anthology was a pleasure,” says Joan Warden. “I look forward to getting together again with many of the writers who have been friends for years. I know that sharing all of our stories with others will be a joy.”

Al Fike adds, “For years I have kept my personal spiritual experiences to myself and only told close friends who had an understanding of such matters. My encounters with God and His Angels have had a profound effect on my life and to share them with others in a casual way felt like giving away a personal treasure. Little did I know that in my latter years, I would be telling the world through the book, Divine Love for the Soul,’ about these beautiful blessings. I suppose as one gets older there is less thought to what others may think and more appreciation to what a gift these blessed experiences have been and along with others who are brave and loving enough to reveal their profound callings to God, I consider it a privilege to share my stories.”

Divine Love for the Soul contains powerful personal stories from people connecting with God on a soul level,” explains Dr. Michael Nedbal. “With authors from all over the world – this isn’t a local phenomena. God is showing Himself to souls who are ready and asking to know His Truths. I have been asked by readers if the stories that I have described are true. I can say wholeheartedly that they are not fiction but are 100% based in reality. These stories actually happened. If Divine Love for the Soul has found its way into your hands, you owe it to yourself to learn the truth of who you really are and your relationship to our Heavenly Father, who Loves you.”

Dr. Michael Nedbal Shares His Thoughts About God and Divine Love For The Soul

I have always been searching for answers with regard to my purpose here on earth and my relationship with God. I was raised in the Christian faith, was confirmed Presbyterian when a teenager, and later accepted Jesus as my savior and considered myself a New Born Christian in my twenties. My relationship with God has always been strong but I had difficulty accepting the Biblical teachings. I wanted to be close to God and to do His Will and, therefore, I read and studied the Bible.

But God gave me a gift one evening when I was praying. He gave me a glimpse of Himself. And what I experienced made me weep like a child – I “saw” God with my spiritual eyes and came away knowing that God is Love. To me, this directly contradicted many of the teachings in the Bible which relates that God as a God of wrath. I kept praying and looking for answers.

A year later, I found a book that contained information so profound that it changed me forever. I knew without a doubt that what I read in that book was in direct response to my prayers to know the Truth. What I am referring to is the book titled Angelic Revelations of Divine Truth, which contain messages from the angelic realms. These messages changed my life and explained why I was here on earth and how to get closer to God. In fact, the messages even explained what happened to me years ago when I received a glimpse of God: I received a part of God’s Divine Love into my soul and with the Love came Truth about who God really is and our relationship with Him.

Divine Love for the Soul contains powerful personal stories from people connecting with God on a soul level. With authors from all over the world, this isn’t a local phenomena. God is showing Himself to souls who are ready and asking to know His Truths. I have been asked by readers if the stories that I have described are true. I can say wholeheartedly that they are not fiction but are 100% based in reality - these stories actually happened. If Divine Love for the Soul has found its way into your hands, you owe it to yourself to learn the truth of who you really are and your relationship to our Heavenly Father, who Loves you.

What is so special about Divine Love?

Our souls are created in the "image of God," but not the "substance." This substance is Divine Love, which is the very essence of God. This Love has the power to change our hearts from being sinful to being "saved."

With possession of Divine Love in our soul, negative thoughts are removed, our worries and fears become things of the past, and we experience a peace that passeth all understanding. We are free, indeed. We become happy and joyous and we love with a love that God has.

Divine Love surrounds each and everyone of us no matter if we are a "saint" or "sinner." It's within our reach to possess it. But there's a catch. We have to want it… to ask for it… to create within our soul an awakening to receive it. This is done simply by praying for it. The prayer below has the power to cause this soul awakening and by reading it regularly, Divine Love will soon begin to flow into our soul. It may take a week, it may take a month or longer, as the writers of this book have shared, but rest assured, it comes.

The Prayer

Our Father, who art in Heaven, we recognize that Thou art all Holy and loving and merciful, and that we are Thy children, and not the subservient, sinful and depraved creatures that our false teachers would have us believe. That we are the greatest of Thy creation, and the most wonderful of all Thy handiworks, and the objects of Thy great soul’s love and tenderest care.

That Thy will is that we become at-one with Thee, and partake of Thy great love which Thou hast bestowed upon us through Thy mercy and desire that we become, in truth, Thy children, through love, and not through the sacrifice and death of any one of Thy creatures even though the world believes that one Thy equal and a part of Thy Godhead.

We pray that Thou will open up our souls to the inflowing of Thy love, and that then may come Thy Holy Spirit to bring into our souls this, Thy love in great abundance until our souls shall be transformed into the very essence of Thyself; and that there may come to us faith - such faith as will cause us to realize that we are truly Thy children and one with Thee in very substance and not in image only.

Let us have such faith as will cause us to know that Thou art our Father, and the bestower of every good and perfect gift, and that only we, ourselves, can prevent Thy love changing us from the mortal to the immortal.

Let us never cease to realize that Thy love is waiting for each and all of us, and that when we come to Thee, in faith and earnest aspiration, Thy Love will never be withholden from us.

Keep us in the shadow of Thy love every hour and moment of our lives, and help us to overcome all temptations of the flesh, and the influence of the powers of the evil ones, which so constantly surround us and endeavor to turn our thoughts away from Thee to the pleasures and allurements of this world.

We thank Thee for Thy Love and the privilege of receiving it, and we believe that Thou art our Father -- the loving Father who smiles upon us in our weakness and is always ready to help us and take us to Thy arms of love.

We pray, thus, with all the earnestness and longings of our souls and trusting in Thy love, give Thee all the glory, and honor and love that our finite souls can give.

This prayer was written by Jesus through medium James E. Padgett. In addition, he wrote:

"This is the only prayer that men need offer to the Father. It is the only one that appeals to the love of the Father, and with the answer, which will surely come, will come all the blessings that men may need, and which the Father sees are for the good of His creatures."

God is handing His Divine Love to us on a silver platter. But… and this is a big but… God doesn't force His Divine Love on us. It's our choice to accept or reject it. As you read the excerpts of this blog, the writers of this book took the leap of faith and accepted God's Gift of Love. What about you? What do you think? Are you ready to read the book to find out how easy this process is?

Opening the Door to God

[Excerpt by Joan Warden in Divine Love for the Soul - God's Gift of Love]

As I sat outside by the patio table the other day enjoying the beautiful autumn weather, I thought I heard a rustling noise on the other side of the gate near the front porch. A few seconds later, the doorbell rang confirming that my hearing was still functioning. But rather than hopping up and announcing to a stranger that somebody was home, I sat there quietly waiting for this uninvited person to leave, as I just did not want to be bothered.

Perhaps, this same scenario happens with a lot of people throughout their lives – only substitute the word “stranger” with “God.” If He appeared from out of the blue and knocked on your door, would you open it? Or would you not want to be bothered?

Now don’t get me wrong, God wouldn’t actually come and knock on your front door; rather, the door that He does knock on is the one to your heart. In fact, He’s anxiously doing it, so that you may open it and let Him enter.

If you feel uncomfortable because you don’t know God, the following is a bit of information about Him that may cause you to have a change of heart.

God is Love and this means that God is everything that is good and pure and lovely. He is the only one who is supreme and all powerful and loving and....

There Are Two Loves, Not One

[Excerpt by Ian Nicol in Divine Love for the Soul - God's Gift of Love]

People are taught that there is one love, but there are two loves: natural love and Divine Love, or to put it another way, the love we were created with, perfected or not, and the Divine Love, which is God’s love.

No-one can comprehend this Love of the Father until they receive it into their soul. It’s like the old saying, “What you have never had, you will never miss,” and another thing, those who have not received it do not recognise it in those who have received it, and to complicate things even more, some have unknowingly received this Love but lack the understanding of what it is that makes them different from who they were before the inflowing of this love.

But when you sincerely pray to God with faith and longings for the inflowing of the Divine Love, you will receive it, and you will understand the great change in your soul that it causes. Also, you will know that it is waiting for everyone to accept no matter what their condition of soul is.

This Love is progressive and comes in answer to the prayers of the individual, the more a person prays for it, the more of this love is received and the person that prays for this love may look forward to a time in the future when their soul completes its purpose and then....

Thoughts on Losing My Mind

[Excerpt by Ruth Duvall in Divine Love for the Soul - God's Gift of Love]

God, it’s okay with me if I lose my eyesight and can’t see anymore. I will always have my spiritual eyes and I can remember what the sunset looks like and experience the warmth of the setting sun on my face. And, it’s okay if I lose the use of my legs. I can always remember those beautiful walks in the park with you and the feeling of levitating when Your Love flows into me. And, it’s okay if I lose my hearing. I know that it is always in the silence that I can hear your still small voice telling me of your Great Love for us all. And, it’s okay if I forget how to speak. Our best conversations have always been those without words.

But, what if I lose my mind? I hope that you will “remember for me.” Remember to hold me. Remember to love me. Remember to bless my family, my friends, and my extended family around the world. When I forget how to pray, remember the times that I did. When I forget how to share your gift of Love with others, remember for me.

I think I am beginning to see the lesson here. It is a lesson in faith, faith that You will always remember. Faith: that I am resting in the palm of your very capable hand. Faith: that even when I feel I am stumbling around in the dark, not knowing who or where I am, that You Do. Thank you, Father, for all those little lessons in my life. I only need to remember to have....

My Life with God and Autism

[Excerpt by Brianna Davis in Divine Love for the Soul - God's Gift of Love]

This is sort of an autobiography about my life with God, angels and the gift and “curse” of autism. The story references of my love to God, and longing to return to the Creator in the Kingdom of God with the other Celestial Spirits, or my “pack.” You’ll understand what I mean. Here it goes:

I, Brianna Davis, am a Siberian husky wolf-dog hybrid. I have the fun-loving spirit and friendliness of a dog, but the mystery and pride of a wolf. I have a lone-wolf status, meaning I spend most of my time alone, but my dog-like desire to fit into society somehow always kick in. However, it’s not just my personality.

When I was nine months in dog years, I was diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome, a mild form of autism spectrum disorder. The key characteristics are poor social interaction, obsessive interests and routines, and eccentric behavior that are not suitable for his/her age.

My kind and I have been ostracized for being fully or partly “vicious.” Instead of spreading the truth from the myths of “being a wolf” to spread awareness to increase support, we do the other way around so we are thrown away from....

The Benefits of Group Prayer

[Excerpt by Al Fike in Divine Love for the Soul - God's Gift of Love]

I have been a participant in prayer and healing circles for almost four decades and this form of prayer is deeply embedded in my spiritual culture. It is my church, except it is more than a church. It is a fellowship of souls supporting each other on their spiritual journey to God. This fellowship has brought so many blessings to my life I could not list them all here. Together we have communed with the Heavenly Father and His Angels in such powerful ways that without this consistent gathering, I think I would have been lost to the Divine Path many times over. It has been my rock and my solace and, in many ways, it has taught me about the art and science of prayer as well as how to be a channel for God’s Love.

The power of a harmonious and like-minded group engaged in prayer for Divine Love is enormous. The spiritual conditions (energy) created in such a group allow for a clearer and closer channel to God. The intensity of the Love and the power of the healing and peace generated through these collective prayers is at times mind blowing. There are occasions when we have come away from our circle in a very high and joyful state that has lasted for days.

We are also blessed with gifted souls, who are used to convey messages and teachings from our Angel friends, which encourage and enlighten. The Love that flows when our teachers come through to speak to us is palpable in its ability to lift us closer to the Creator. We are encouraged and nurtured on many levels and I thank God daily to have these....

God's Greatest Truths

[Excerpt by Rev. Dr. David R. Lampron in Divine Love for the Soul - God's Gift of Love]

In a section of my own “God Is Love” personal testimonial in “Chapter One: Soul Awakenings,” I mentioned that if there ever was a book that seemed desperately in need of some major corrections, as far as I was concerned, it was the Bible. But what I would now also like to share with you by way of contrast are a couple of major Truths that the Bible does contain if properly understood.

What did Jesus and other of his disciples have to say primarily? Simply and briefly put, God’s Love is available to all who sincerely seek it through prayer. This was precisely the “Way” that Jesus originally taught a man might achieve true communion with God and eventual angelic status. The repeated inflow of this Love into our souls, through the messenger and instrumentality of God’s Holy Spirit, is that which begins to purify and transform them over time, and with greater abundance, into divine souls, partaking of the very Substance of God’s Own Soul and making us no longer human and finite souls, but transformed angelic and immortal souls.

Jesus qualifies that true angelic children of God do not achieve this status through a meritorious process wherein good thoughts and good works eventually qualify one for Celestial residence among the divine. Neither is this status gained by a mere belief in Jesus’ name or in any falsely alleged vicarious atonement of his. As Jesus clearly and emphatically points out in his hundreds of messages through Mr. Padgett, our Father is not a wrathful God who sought an expiation for men’s sins through the sacrifice and death of a beloved son.  Rather, He is a Loving Father who....

My Tree

[Excerpt by Ruth Duvall in Divine Love for the Soul - God's Gift of Love]

My tree has four major branches and many smaller ones that branch off from those as if stretching her arms out to protect and shelter all that she can. A multitude of acorns lie at her feet, waiting to bless and nourish the hungry ones in winter’s path. Her arthritic looking twigs gently caress a small bird’s nest, full of hope. The squirrels have made a large nest high up in the very top branches, using her discarded leaves of red and gold and a few twigs, and yes, a bit of that old moss too, for insulation from the cold winter ahead.

The birds will carry her acorns to places far and wide, to places she could only dream of. New trees will spring up and grow strong and tall and carry on her legacy. Receiving Divine Love in the soul is much like my tree receiving life giving light and water to grow and bear fruit. It strengthens and nurtures and grows the soul and brings us closer to Heaven.

I believe that if we can endure the storms in life, and grow our roots strong and deep in the Father’s Love, bend a bit when the winds blow, feed and shelter those we can in need and remember to give thanks to our Benefactor, we can all grow into something quite....

Why Is Talking About God a Taboo?

[Excerpt by Dan Bowman in Divine Love for the Soul - God's Gift of Love]

Several years ago I went to a client’s home in the early morning to do a home inspection and the maid let me inside to do my job. We shared some light conversation and I began talking about God as a response to something she said. She replied, “I wasn't going to walk through that door unless you went there first.” After the “ice” was broken, she opened up and we had a wonderful sharing together about God.

I think most folks are very timid to talk about God in public because, perhaps, they fear rejection by others, who may see this as a taboo. Why is talking about God a taboo? Maybe this is rooted in fear; people don't want to be rejected, as some may draw their self image from the opinions of others. This is an oddity to me. My natural inclination is to talk about God as often as I can - not to convert others, as we only convert ourselves - but because I can't help myself. It just spills out as if I can't not talk about my loving Lord. And this is all due to my spiritual conditioning through seeking God's Divine Love. Divine Love does give us a boldness to speak of God early and often and does not compromise itself out of fear of what others think.

In addition, Divine Love is true and honest, as it is not contrived and artificial. There are many people who talk about God, who are also looking for the acceptance of others or whom are seeking other’s approval as appearing acceptable. Divine Love creates a naturally sincere state of being that is rooted in Love and is, therefore, in a state of....

The Calling

[Excerpt by Al Fike in Divine Love for the Soul - God's Gift of Love]

After leaving the Johrai group, I dove in feet first into the world of spirit communication, healing and the practice of praying for and receiving the Divine Love from God. I had to reconcile that God’s Love was not already a part of me, but rather an external energy that I could possess in my soul only if I were open to receiving it from God through prayer and soul longing.

I did not really know what “soul longing” was, but I did feel something rising up from my center that felt like excitement and joy. This must be the soul. In some ways, it felt like jumping off a cliff and, yet, I also felt like I was coming home. Yes, home into the loving arms of the Creator. Indeed, it felt akin to falling in love.

I was, indeed, besotted with the Love of the Creator and each day felt like what I then described as “God’s credit card.” A seemingly never-ending flow of Love coming my way, and I did not do anything special to deserve it other than take time to pray for it. The cascade of Love kept coming and coming, and I felt so high it was like being stoned....

Ask and You Shall Receive

[Excerpt by Jill Lloyd in Divine Love for the Soul - God's Gift of Love]

Many years ago when I was in my very early twenties I felt troubled; I was experimenting with drugs and alcohol. I became aware of a deep longing to experience the fullness of life that Jesus had spoken about.

I had a vision of two doors: one that lead to negativity and destruction; and the other to a positive fulfilling life. I knew I had to make a choice right then and there. There was no turning back. I started right away to make changes. I read and studied all the spiritual material that I could find. After two years, nothing seemed to come of it. I began to feel very discouraged. I started to think my old lifestyle was better.

Before I went to sleep I prayed, “If there is a God, please give me a sign that I am on the right track, as I am about to abandon it altogether.” (I was....

The Unfolding Nature of God

[Excerpt by Dan Bowman in Divine Love for the Soul - God's Gift of Love]

It is interesting what silence can do for the soul, as this past weekend I paddled the Mt. Fork River and wilderness and camped alone. The weather was perfect with light winds, balmy temperatures in the 60s to 70s, and rain free.

The usual chatter in my brain was gone as I felt like a child with eyes wide open witnessing the unfolding of nature and God. My times of prayer were intense as I stood under the pines with arms stretched to the heavens calling out to my God of Love. It was a time of joy. Everything came together so perfectly.

Yesterday morning during breakfast, I asked God a question about Jesus’ immortal words; “Seek ye first the kingdom and all else will be added unto you.” I spent several hours writing, as black birds cawed and woodpeckers hammered trees, while I sat on pine straw and golden leaves. The weekend was most illuminating for me as a spiritual retreat of the....

Following the Will of God

[Excerpt by Joan Warden in Divine Love for the Soul - God's Gift of Love]

What does it mean follow the Will of God? And, further, if we do, how will our lives change? Will we have to give up any of our favorite things if we take this giant leap of faith?

Well, all of the above questions never crossed my mind when I first committed myself to God, our Heavenly Father, over 14 years ago. I simply knew in my heart and soul that I loved Him dearly and I wanted and needed Him to be with me. When I told Him, “I will follow you,” I meant every word of it. When this happened, I didn’t know Him on such a personal level like the way it is today, but I was aware that He was leading me. This was a time of personal upheaval, and it was out with the old and in with the new - arising to the next spiritual level is the best way to describe it. Many wonderful blessings, both spiritual and material, were given to me and there is no doubt that our Father is in my house.

Two years ago, I re-committed myself to Him, and this was the start of the spiritual closeness we now have and enjoy and we’re communicating all the time. He will tell me specifically what He wants me to do and, of course, it is my humblest honor and privilege to do as He....

The Visit

[Excerpt by Ian Nicol in Divine Love for the Soul - God's Greatest Gift]

The strangest thing happened to me while I lived in England, the experience changed me and my destiny, the year was 1982. At that time I was a rebellious young man, tired of lies and trickery that derived from people who knowingly mistreated other people for their own selfish gain.

Anyway, one of these power mongers had really done some bad things to me and my friends. He seemed to have absolutely no respect for others, thinking only of himself and his ambitions. I really despised him for what he had done and could not get it out of my system. I dreamt about him nearly every night for a couple of weeks, taking my revenge out on him through my dreams. I became obsessed by it and thought that I was justified. I also believed that it was me who must stop him from hurting and tricking others. I did not want him to do these things against anyone else, in a way; I did it to reveal to him what he had done, so that he might stop himself.

Several months went by, and then we met again. He saw me and came over to me, not the egomaniac that I knew, but a very humiliated man who asked my forgiveness, and within a moment my anger turned to pity. And after seeing this broken man, who reached out his hand to mine, I forgave him on the spot and he seemed relieved. It made me happy to see that he had realised his wrongdoings and done something about it, which appeared to have changed him for the better. I heard later that he had been demoted from his top job. After that, we were both free from....

Filling the Void

[Excerpt by Dr. Michael Nedbal in Divine Love for the Soul - God's Gift of Love]

I was busy studying for my graduate exam when my mother passed away. I received the call at 3:00 a.m. and was in shock and disbelief. I always felt that I had a strong spiritual connection with my mother and that I would instinctively know when something happened. But I didn’t know – not until the call. Not only was I in despair, but my belief system was shaken.

The passing of a loved one resets your priorities to the things that really matter. For the first time in my life, I realized that I didn’t have the answers to many important questions. I had been on autopilot, living from day to day not thinking about the big picture. I had been sleepwalking. But now, work was secondary and my first priority was trying to fill this void in my life and in my heart.

I tried dating, going to parties, and attending various churches and Bible studies. But the void didn’t go away – it became worse. I felt a million miles away from God and despite having friends and family, I felt as though I was in a vacuum. I tried to get answers from the churches, but they were more interested in fellowship than seeking the Truths….

Seeds of Love and Forgiveness

[Excerpt by Ruth Duvall in Divine Love for the Soul - God's Gift of Love]

I feel the presence of God more these days. That may seem an odd thing to say, knowing the state of the world and its level of fear and chaos and, yet, He is everywhere. When I look into the eyes of those who are in deep despair, those with little or no hope, those who do not experience love, joy and peace in their souls, I still see God in them. I see that spark deep inside each person He has created.

I used to think that God could not be where there was fear and darkness. I now know that there “IS no place where God is not.” He is always there, always loving, always reaching out for us all. Like a Marine, He leaves no man behind! We are His soldiers. We have been given our orders to march forward in defense of those who cannot defend themselves from fear and darkness, here in this physical world, and in the next.

There are millions of souls in the dark crevasses beyond. These perfect souls created by our Father have been muddied and gotten dirty from being in the trenches of life and like many soldiers, when they come home from war, bloodied and dirty, with eyes and hearts bruised and limbs weakened, they feel as though they don’t fit in with the “normal” people anymore. They call it “post traumatic stress syndrome.” In their hearts they can’t see how they can ever find their way back home to that innocence of a child running into the arms of his Father. He feels he must be punished; he can’t allow himself to feel the loving arms around him. He cannot see the light burning on the front porch, left on day and night, just for him. We must gather together with the Father’s Love Light and send out a search party to bring them home. I want to be in that search party. I want to bring all the children home, even the one with the hole in his heart, but I need you to pass that child over the fence to me so I can help to carry him home safely for healing. Only the Father can fill that hole and mend that heart, but it takes....

My Spiritual Journey on the Divine Path

[Excerpt by Al Fike in Divine Love for the Soul - God's Gift of Love]

My boss, a personable woman in her 40’s, kept encouraging me in my spiritual pursuits and told me there was a lot more for me to discouver about myself and my gifts. She told me she was clairvoyant and could see my aura and told me I was born with a healing gift and that my desire to work the earth and be close to nature was all part and parcel of my gifts. The earth gave me something and I gave the earth something in return. Sort of like a green thumb writ large.

She is a wonderful cook and invited me to her home for dinner one night. We had a long conversation about spiritual things and she told me about some of her amazing experiences. She was also a medium. While we talked, she told me about the Padgett books and about the Divine Love.

Before the evening was over, she became overshadowed by the Celestial Spirit Confucius. Her face turned into a wizened Chinese face complete with Chinese-shaped eyes. I was both scared and fascinated by this experience and listened intently to his message to me. I don’t remember much of what he said now, but he confirmed that the Divine Love was real, and....

Why I Pray for Divine Love

[Excerpt by Dan Bowman in Divine Love for the Soul - God's Gift of Love]

“Woe is me,” was my earlier tune and it cost me dearly to entertain such deprecating thoughts. Seeking God's Love for salvation from this negative condition due to such bilious thinking has been the prime impetus of my prayers and longings.

It seems like a long and winding road ahead that leads to the heart of God. And then I remember reading one of the messages that James Padgett received that said most folks take several centuries to develop their souls into the perfection of their original creation; that is, the perfection of their natural love; and soul development in the Divine Love is much faster than natural love development.

When I read such words, I take comfort that we are among a few people on earth whom have been blessed with the Master's teachings of the redemption of the mortal soul through the affects of the Father's Divine Love upon our soul. It is not a hidden or esoteric knowledge, however, is hidden in the sense that, without any possession of this Love, the human mind cannot comprehend its existence nor can fathom the principal of the "New Birth." Once a person reaches out and asks for God's Divine Love to become implanted in their soul, whereas, it becomes a soul possession, the blinders are removed from our eyes and the soul's perceptions have now been activated through this Divine substance, which enables us to perceive....

Loving God is So Easy

[Excerpt by Joan Warden in Divine Love for the Soul - God's Gift of Love]

When I learned the truth about who and what God is and that in order to live with Him in Heaven, I must pray for His Divine Love, then I began praying every night. It wasn’t too long before I felt a jolt come into the area of my heart and, frankly, it startled me.

“What is this?” I asked myself. “Is it God’s Divine Love?”

Indeed, it was and for many years thereafter, His wonderful love warms my heart and soul each and every time I receive it. But I was not so very close to Him in the sense that I considered Him to be my Father. I just knew He was far off in His Heavens and He was with me whenever I prayed to Him for whatever I thought I needed at the time.

A few years ago, though, when I was going through this bout of sadness that wouldn’t leave me, I decided that when I prayed to God, I would send to Him all the love that was in my heart and soul. This was a new effort on my part and not really expecting anything in return, well, was I ever in for a delightful surprise. Not only was my sadness lifted, but God returned to me immediately His wonderful Love with an intensity I will....

The Enchanted Place

[Excerpt by Ian Nicol in Divine Love for the Soul - God's Gift of Love]

One day, I decided to go for a ride on my bicycle. It was a lovely sunny day; the birds were singing beautifully; there was nothing that called for my immediate attention, so, “Why not?” I thought.

I loved to cycle up and down the steep winding slopes of the rugged Norwegian landscape. I decided to take the same route as I usually did, and so I set off totally unaware of the strange event that would happen to me, so strange, that to this day I have no real explanation as to what really happened, or why! Here we go.

Well, everything went as normal. The tour lasted for about an hour, and I was about two minutes away from my house, then to the left of me, my eye caught the attention of some tall trees I had never seen before. They were all standing in a row, on both sides of a small dirt road. I recognised the road, but not the trees.

Just as I was puzzling about where did these trees come from, all on its own, my bike did a really smooth left swing into this road. I remembered it was as if something took over the bike and....

My Divine Love Testimonial

[Excerpt by Gregory Boster in Divine Love for the Soul - God’s Gift of Love]

In 1971, I was initiated into Transcendental Meditation and began to meditate regularly. I began to have experiences of a transcendent nature. Some of the experiences I recognized from childhood, like leaving my physical body and floating in the spiritual realms. Just when I was beginning to think I had found what I was looking for, I had an experience that changed my path.  It happened when I was in a deep meditative state. My mind was clear, except for the mantra I was repeating.  It was impressed upon me that what I was looking for was what Jesus of Nazareth knows, taught 2000 years ago on earth and still teaches. I was told that it could not be found in the mainstream churches. I had the feeling that this was an answer to my prayers.

Only a month or two later, I was introduced to the book, True Gospel Revealed Anew by Jesus. I could not put it down and the more I read, the more I wanted. It was answering all my questions about where we came from, where we are going, who God is and Jesus and much more. I was elated because it made so much sense. My soul was saying eureka!

It has been a great blessing to know that this Divine Love is always available to fill our hearts. It sustains me in all my travels and keeps me….

With Every Prayer, I Wish You Love!

[Excerpt by Ruth Duvall in Divine Love for the Soul - God’s Gift of Love]

In my forties, I started taking my spiritual life more seriously and began seeking God. I went from church to church, always with my “check list.” It seemed they would have a few good points, but something was always missing. It was around 1997, that I started writing poetry. It was a rough time in my life. I remember starting out writing my poem, “Someone to Hold You,” when suddenly I heard a voice and I began to write down the words I was hearing. It was coming so fast I yelled, “Slow down, I can’t write that fast!” I realized there was no one there and asked myself, who are you talking to? Well, this is how it all started.

I remember, I was feeling very lonely and wanted someone to love “me.” I was in my office and praying. Suddenly, I was “taken away” again, and I saw the very same man I did as a child, along with two others I did not know. Well, I now instantly perceived who this man was, it was Jesus. He called me to him and started talking to me about love. He told me that there was another love I knew not of. He told me how we humans think that our love is the greatest love we can feel. As an example, a young girl might think she loves her guy “so much” and she could never live without him, or we “love” our children so much.

He proceeded to tell me about “God’s Love.” He said there is....

Homecoming, My Story

[Excerpt by Rev. Carolyn R. Stokes in Divine Love for the Soul - God’s Gift of Love]

One winter day, I was traveling alone, through the park, on my way home from parochial school. I decided to take a detour to the ice skating ring. Oh, I may have forgotten to mention, I was also a tomboy. No, I didn’t have ice skates and my older brother had warned me that if I fell on the ice, I would knock all my teeth out. That didn’t stop me from using my school satchel as a toboggan by running and sliding on my stomach, across the ice. By the time, I got cold enough to stop; it had started snowing, again. As I was approaching the cresting of pilled snow, on the edge of the ring, I saw my Aunt Corrine. She was dressed in a flowing light blue dress and medium blue mantle on her shoulder that went down and covered up her feet. Her hair was in a long page boy style. She looked tall, radiant and calm. I didn’t stop to consider why she didn’t have a coat on because it was cold. I just felt an overwhelming sense of peace. I wasn’t cold anymore.

She looked at me and told me she had a message for me to give to my mother. She said she was fine and for my mom not to worry. Everything would be okay. Then she was....

God is Love

[Excerpt by Rev. Dr. David R. Lampron in Divine Love for the Soul - God’s Gift of Love]

Had not my own soul yearned for a more personal confirmation of God’s Love, the chances are that I would have passed through my mortal life ongoingly plagued with doubts and a lack of fulfillment. Rationally, I knew that no material answer to prayer and no external miracle, so-called, would ever serve to absolutely confirm the Reality of God’s Love within myself. Ah, but there was the not as yet discovered key: “within”! God’s Love could not be absolutely confirmed from without. Might it instead be confirmed from within?

For quite some time my soul gave me no peace. As a child of God, I could not conceive that absolutely no communication with God was possible. If I could pray directly to God, certainly God, so much greater than I, could respond directly to me if He chose to do so. “Could,” yes, but would He? And, if so, what was I to do to encourage His response, not even knowing how to proceed? Would I even recognize His response, should it come?

There was no way that I could preconceive what a direct response from God would be like. All I can tell you is that I wanted God. With all the longing of my soul, that had been slowly but surely....

In His Arms of Love - A Heart Beat Away

[Excerpt by Holly Bianco in Divine Love for the Soul - God’s Gift of Love]

I didn’t know how much it really affected me until I had a powerful conscious-dream about those emotions. I say conscious-dream, because it is hard to exactly describe an experience that you have when you are not moving in your body but yet you are fully conscious of your senses.

As I was awakening from sleep, my soul felt this deep distress and hurtfulness come to the surface, which immediately led me to cry out to my Heavenly Father. I literally heard my soul’s voice cry out “Father!” and there He was. I felt His Presence in a second and with it a soul vision of Him, where He had these shoulders that I could cry upon. I never knew how close God was to me - a heartbeat away. I was quite surprised; it felt as if my soul knew where He was all along but just never reached out enough to touch Him.

As He came to me I could feel Him speaking to my soul, “I am your Father, and I’m here to comfort you - here is my Love, receive it now.” At that moment, I could feel His Love flooding into my soul and His Love permeating and warming my heart region. As I fully awakened in my body, I could still feel the warmth of His Love radiating in my heart....
